Three sample pages and a sample Budget Workbook sheet, from the Complete Package. The full guides go further.

The Money System

Sample page

Step 1: List every bill with its due date

  1. Open the Budget Workbook and go to the Bills sheet.
  2. Enter each bill: its name, amount, due date and the account it leaves.
  3. Mark the bills that stay the same every month, such as rent.
  4. Sort the rows by due date.

Why this step comes first

Sorted due dates show which bill a tight week can wait on and which cannot. One list ends the month-end guessing.

The Savings and 401(k) Guide

Sample page

Why that blank 401(k) form matters

Your employer's 401(k) plan moves part of your pay into a retirement account before you see it.

A traditional 401(k) takes the tax when you withdraw the money. A Roth 401(k) takes the tax now.

The guide explains how each type works, in plain words, so you can choose for yourself.

The guides never name a fund, plan or insurer to buy. Education only, not personal financial advice.

The Insurance and Family Protection Guide

Sample page

Four answers to have before you call an agent

  1. Who depends on your pay.
  2. What your lease or your job already covers.
  3. What you own that would cost a lot to replace.
  4. What one large medical or repair bill would do to your savings.

The guide explains why each insurance type exists and what it protects. You decide the rest with a licensed agent. Education only, not personal financial advice.
